About My Artwork

I find nature photography a very energizing pursuit for me, and imagery is a powerful way to show the beauty and fragileness of nature. It is a multi-faceted challenge to capture images of the natural world with my camera. Patience, persistence and luck pay off in nature photography, and my knowledge of birds and bird behavior has been a great asset. Enough about me. This page is really about the three different types of artwork I offer for your home or your office.

Canvas or Metal Print?

Canvas Prints have an artsy look to them.  People often ask me, “Did you paint this?”.   Canvas prints are available in a variety of sizes, the largest being 40″x60″ and the smallest 8″x10″.  They can be ordered with a frame (optional) and all come with a wire hanger on the back.  They are glare-free, and sealed to protect against UV damage and moisture.  My canvases are made using the highest quality canvas, stretcher bars, and inks. They are not mass produced, nor are they printed overseas. They are proudly printed in the USA.

Metal Prints offer bold colors, lots of detail, and depth.  The image you select is printed on a thin, light-weight aluminum plate.  Metal prints have more of an actual “photograph look” to them.  They pop off the wall with stunning colors. You can choose from 20 popular sizes.

Fine Art Prints are produced using archival inks and high quality, fine art paper.  I offer three different ready-made sizes:  8×10, 11×14, and 18×24.  They come with a simple white mat, but custom matting is also an option.  My award winning Great Blue Heron (image #7834) is available in a reclaimed barnwood frame.  This popular frame has a coastal feel and works well with many decorating styles.

Finally, I enjoy marketing my artwork directly to buyers and I have been a regular vendor for ten years at a local farmer’s market in Easton, Maryland.  People love hearing the incredible stories behind some of the photographs I exhibit at this market.  I offer a local, complimentary in-home service to help people select their artwork and measure for the correct size.  You may contact me directly through this website with questions or to place an order.  Please be sure to provide the four-digit image number and the gallery you saw it in (white flight, colors of nature, etc.).   I look forward to hearing from and working with you.
